CSTA's Science Awards Honorees

Congratulations to our STEAM teacher, Diana Walker, on her selection by the Connecticut Science Teacher's Association for the "Elementary Excellence in Science Teaching" award! Mrs. Walker has worked tirelessly to increase our Marine Science program at Jefferson. We also want to congratulate Mr. John Foldeak, K-12 Marine Science Coordinator, on his win for the Babu George STEM award. This award goes to an individual who has been instrumental in the design or initiative of a STEM project. Mr. Foldeak works with all three of the Marine Science Pathway schools to ensure students are getting a high-quality and exciting program. We thank both of you for your hard work and celebrate with you on your recognition!
